Statement of Faith
| 1. We believe in the three persons of the Godhead (the Trinity) Genesis 1:2 it makes mention of the Holy Spirit of God. In Psalms 2:7,12 as in the New Testament you can see the unity of God and His plurality. The New Testament introduces to us the Father in John 3:16, the Son Phillipians.2:5-8 & John 1:1 and the Holy Spirit who is God, Acts 5:3,4 2. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16, & Hebrews 4:12 & 2 Peter 1:21 3. We believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 4. We believe in the salvation of mankind through faith. Romans 10:8-10; Ephesians 2:8,9 5. We believe in the participation of holy communion. Luke 22:15-20 & 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 6. We believe in water baptism as a public confession of our faith. Mark 1:4,5; Romans 6:2-5; Matthew 28:18-19 7. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Luke 24:49; Acts 1:5,8; Acts 2:1-13, and Acts 8:16 8. We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12 1-11 9. We believe in congregating. Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:41,42 10. We believe in honoring God with tithes and offerings. Malachi 3:8-12; Hebrews7:1-9 11. We believe in the rapture of the church. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 12.We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. Matthew 16:27; John. 14:-1-3; Acts 1:10-11 13. We believe in the judgment of the Saints. 2 Corinthians 5:10 Romans 14:9,10 and Revelations 22:12 14. We believe in the Great judgment.
